SITTING POSTURE AND MECHANICAL STIMULATIONS

[Abstract] ..... ... Prolonged sitting on soft seat causes that the buttocks’ muscles aren’t supporting the upper body weight. In this case, the upper body weight is lying on the buttocks and it compresses the muscles, bones and fat tissues. The act of compression is at the same time the act of providing excessive mechanical stimulation to the muscles, bones and fat tissues in the buttocks.

The presence of excessive mechanical stimulations on the fat tissues causes progression of the fat mass. On the other side, the absence of mechanical stimulations on the fat tissues causes regression of the fat mass.

The absence of mechanical stimulations that are caused by physical inactivity causes destructive regression of fat mass.

The absence of mechanical stimulation caused by improved efficiency of supporting and carrying the body weight causes productive regression of fat mass.....
